1. Can you ping your SERVER PC IP?
If NO:
Look in your c:\ptwins folder for the application ffcomms.exe or
Download ffcomms.exe for lame IP network.
If NO:
- Network cable, card or switch error.
- PC not in same IP Range.
- Server PC not running
Look in your c:\ptwins folder for the application ffcomms.exe or

- Dble click on ffcomms and once launched... Choose TCP/IP from the drop-down box. Leave the server name blank unless your server PC has a static address (preferred), in this case type the Server PC's IP address in the Name Box.
- Close it. Fire up Lollypos again :)
- Lollypos Server blocked by windows firewall on server PC or
- Server Application not running on server PC or
- Lollypos application blocked from server by windows or other firewall.

The Terms TCP/IP Network, Ip Addresses, PING and firewall, is not Lollypos or EPOS Specific. These are very common everyday windows settings your OWN every-day computer guy will definitely be able to help you with. Most likely even over the phone.
How to backup Lollypos
(Lollypos requires < (less than:) 1 Gig space for many years)

1. Insert your memory stick.
2. Close your Lollypos (Else the files are locked)
3. Double click on My Computer.
4. Double Click on C: (Local drive)
5. Locate the c:\ptwins folder.
6. Right click on the folder, then "send to"
and left click on your memory stick drive.
Network Lollypos
(Only the c:\ptwins folder on the SERVER PC needs to be backed up.)
1. Logout all Lollypos and Cashpos users.
(Else the files are locked)
2. Insert your memory stick in the SERVER PC.
3. Double click on My Computer.
4. Double Click on C: (Local drive)
5. Locate the c:\ptwins folder.
