1. Can you ping the server PC's IP?

- Network cable, card or switch error.
- PC not in same IP Range.
- Server PC not running
- Look in your c:\ptwins folder for the application ffcomms.exe.
- Dble click on ffcomms and once launched... Choose TCP/IP from the drop-down box. Leave the server name blank unless your server PC has a static address (preferred), in this case type the Server PC's IP address in the Name Box.
- Close it. Fire up Lollypos again :)

Hint! How to make it really easy.
I suspect your TCP/IP network is already running. But just in case it is not, and your network lollypos cannot communicate with it's data, and you get errors.Good news!
The Terms TCP/IP Network, Ip Addresses, PING and firewall, is not Lollypos or EPOS Specific. These are very common everyday windows settings your OWN every-day computer guy will definitely be able to help you with. Most likely even over the phone.
